What does a Senior Account Manager do at Hogarth?

As part of the Client Services Department, you play a central role in the business and are pivotal to the smooth running of your account(s). You will need excellent linguistic skills, attention to detail, a thorough understanding of the Transcreation process and be responsible for managing projects from brief to final delivery in collaboration with other departments. You will be client focused and require good communication, organisation and time management skills to manage your clients and internal departments, while always focusing on quality, process and profitability.

What does a Senior Account Manager do at Hogarth?

  • Manage Transcreation Quality:Oversee the quality of transcreation services, including glossary and Translation Memory maintenance, and provide freelancer feedback.
  • Ensure Brand & Quality Control:Act as a brand guardian, ensuring adherence to guidelines and procedures, and escalating quality issues.
  • Project Manage End-to-End Projects:Coordinate projects from brief to delivery, managing timelines, workflows, and communication with all stakeholders.
  • Optimize Internal Workflows:Monitor and improve internal processes, utilizing project management tools and ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Lead & Develop Team:Manage direct reports, oversee workload, foster productivity, and support team development and recruitment.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships:Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and ensure clear communication and reporting.
  • Drive Financial Compliance:Ensure adherence to financial procedures, assist with reporting, and contribute to budgeting and profitability.
  • Support Talent Management:Review and improve freelancer performance, working closely with talent managers.
  • Maintain Technical Proficiency:Utilize and manage relevant project management and internal systems (e.g., XTM, ALM, Encodify, JIRA, CP Content Hub).
  • Identify Growth Opportunities:Proactively seek new revenue streams and support AD/SAD development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience working in transcreation, translation and/or localisation
  • Experience working in production (moving image ideally)
  • Solid experience managing international clients in multiple markets with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong time management/prioritisation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Can do attitude and an ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent oral and written English plus additional languages
  • Highly organised, detail oriented, client focused and proactive
