Job description

Our client is a leading commercial bank who is looking for a Head of Training leader to join them.

Training Strategy Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize training needs through collaboration with various departments and leadership.
Training Program Design:
  • Design and develop innovative and engaging training programs and materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and on-the-job training.
  • Utilize adult learning principles and the latest instructional design techniques to create effective training content.
Training Delivery:
  • Oversee the facilitation and delivery of training programs, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a pool of internal and external trainers as needed.
New Restaurant Openings:
  • Collaborate with operations to provide training support for all NROs.
  • Ensure a smooth launch and consistent guest experience.
Training Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Establish assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Continuously evaluate training outcomes and make improvements as necessary.
Budget Management:
  • Manage the training budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient training solutions without compromising quality.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, providing guidance and support for their growth and development.
Technology Integration:
  • Stay updated on emerging training technologies and tools, and recommend their integration to enhance training effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior training role with a minimum of 15 years in training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets effectively.
  • Experience in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technology.
  • Adept at evaluating and improving training programs based on data and feedback.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritize, manage multiple and changing timelines, and multi-task with limited supervision while meeting established timelines.
  • Delivers results for which he/she is accountable.
  • Dependability, flexibility and professional demeanor.
  • Maintains high standards of personal ethics and professionalism; is consistently honest and truthful in all situations.
  • Superior communication skills to influence, motivate, and manage diverse groups by building strong relationships.

  • Must be able to work a variety of scheduled hours, based on the needs of the business
  • Proficient computer skills, including basic MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
