We are looking for a skilled, customer-service oriented IT Specialist II with at least two years of hands-on experience in IT support. This role will provide technical assistance to end-users across Windows and macOS environments, supporting Microsoft Office Suite, hardware, and peripheral devices. Our ideal candidate will have experience with service/help desk operations and remote support tools. They will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.


What You'll Do

  • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for Windows and Mac systems via phone, chat, in person, and other remote tools.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, etc.) and peripheral devices.
  • Monitor and respond to all incoming service desk tickets in a timely manner, documenting all actions and resolutions, and escalating when necessary.
  • Support and maintain user accounts, permissions, and profiles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and configuration.
  • Maintain asset inventory and perform basic network troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on user satisfaction.

This position is primarily an in-office position, with the option for one remote day after onboarding and training. Remote work availability is subject to change at anytime based on business needs.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a full-time IT support, service desk, or help desk role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and support of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with remote support tools (TeamViewer, Remote Desktop, AnyDesk, etc.).
  • Familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to learn new skills and develop professionally. 
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Freshworks, ServiceNow, Zendesk, and Jira Service Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience installing and maintaining CAD and design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe InDesign.

Additional Information

  • Lifting of IT equipment may be required (up to 35lbs).
  • Off-hours work is rare, but may be required to address critical issues.
  • Our office is a professional design studio environment where appropriate dress and conduct are expected.
