The IT Manager will manage all IT activities in the company and is responsible for leading the IT team in managing all company technology, assessing business needs and priorities, developing, testing, feature scopes, and code move processes. The IT manager will manage, plan, and maintain the company’s ERP system (D365), as well as oversee daily support using best practices for business operations in distribution/warehousing and manufacturing. The IT Manager will work closely with the Senior Management Team and manage all aspects of new projects including scoping, kick off, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and change management. Ensures all projects and goals are met and adheres to approved budgets. Conducts research and recommends the selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. Forward thinker that will expand the company’s use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives. Manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs and oversees the IT support function. The IT Manager is expected to be hands-on with technology and will assist with ongoing support, reporting needs and end user training in addition to managing internal and external resources. The IT Manager will ensure that EDI related production and procedures are maintained and properly executed, including development, change requests, and enterprise integration projects. The IT Manager will also support Canada, and Monterrey Mexico locations. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Minimum 7 years’ experience. in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of ERP software solutions as well as system implementation, and support.
· Strong management skills in dealing with both staff and projects
· Proven project management and change management skills
· Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deal with people with different skills sets and backgrounds
· Experience supporting a high-volume ERP application - Microsoft D365
· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures, within IT field
· Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
· Proactive, responsible with a positive attitude
· Knowledge of computer logic and methodology to perform task listed under principal duties and responsibilities
· Experience with Manufacturing/Distribution Center operations including receiving, pick-packing, shipping, and inventory control
· Experience working multi-divisional, and/or multi-company distribution operations
· Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
· Working knowledge of windows-based system
