Commercial Roofer Job Duties:
Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up roofs.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and roofing plans to ensure proper installation.
Operate hand tools and roofing equipment safely and efficiently.
Identify and troubleshoot problem areas such as leaks, ponding, or structural issues.
Work at heights on flat and sloped roofs, often in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule and to specification.
Commercial Roofer Job Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial roofing required.
Proficiency in installing single-ply membrane systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC) and other low-slope roofing systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and job specs.
Must have personal hand tools and required PPE.
Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and OSHA compliance.
