We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Safety Engineer (Foreigner) with a proven track record in managing comprehensive safety operations in large institutional facilities, such as university campuses. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in implementing safety protocols aligned with international standards and capable of integrating defense-related safety directives to ensure a secure, compliant, and hazard-free environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and policies tailored for large facilities (e.g., universities or government complexes).
Enforce and align safety practices with defense and institutional safety regulations.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all departments and infrastructure.
Review safety documentation and verify compliance with fire safety, emergency preparedness, and hazardous materials handling.
Train staff and stakeholders on health, safety, fire prevention, and emergency response protocols.
Monitor and investigate safety incidents, accidents, or near misses, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
Collaborate with maintenance, facility management, and external defense authorities for safety coordination.
Maintain safety records, prepare detailed reports, and ensure documentation for compliance purposes.
Lead periodic safety drills and simulations in coordination with emergency services and civil defense.
Advise management on best practices, new safety technologies, and continuous improvement strategies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Safety, Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering).
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent internationally recognized safety certification.
NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent safety training certification is mandatory.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in safety management, including at least 3 years in large facility projects (university campuses, military installations, etc.).
Familiarity with defense protocols and civil defense requirements in the Middle East (preferred).
Strong knowledge of international and regional HSE standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, NFPA).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.
High-level communication and interpersonal skills to interact with multicultural teams.
Ability to interpret technical safety drawings, reports, and instructions.
Leadership and team coordination skills to drive safety culture across departments.
Proficiency in report writing, MS Office tools, and safety management software.
