IMG’s digital team provides Consultancy and Agency services to accelerate the digital performance of the biggest names in sport. We create and execute strategy, produce engaging content, improve the use of social media and can help you deliver against your wider business objectives. We build teams and select the best technology partners to improve the way digital is used to engage and inspire fans, build brand profile and generate revenue.

Who We Are:

At IMG, our Studios business use content and technology to power the world's passion for sport, working with global clients including The Premier League, The R&A, DP World Tour, Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. We've built Europe's best-connected broadcast centre at Stockley Park, London, distributing 35,000 hours of content globally and creating some of the world's best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios, fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio, podcast, dubbing and VFX facilities, with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether it's live coverage, archive, highlights, social media, branded content or feature films, we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.

What You’ll Do:

The IMG Digital team are looking for a Senior Account Manager to react to the needs of the business and its clients. The position will be wide-ranging and may include tasks such as leading a variety of digital content projects, writing and presenting content strategies, auditing client digital production operations or developing creative concepts as well as directly supporting our clients on a regular basis. It is possible that this person may be embedded with a client as part of the role.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent role based our facility in Chiswick Park.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:

  • Creation of digital content strategies based on a solid understanding of digital production capabilities and digital platform knowledge.
  • Resource planning, project management and milestone tracking, ensuring we are meeting all deadlines.
  • Formulate and implement social strategies that align with wider business goals for platforms including Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram and TikTok. 
  • Ownership of the creation and delivery of social content and campaigns that align to the agreed strategy. 
  • Oversee the production of social assets, from ideation to publication ensuring quality & correct brand positioning.
  • Presenting ideas, campaigns and strategies to stakeholders of all levels of digital maturity.
  • Analysing and interpreting research and stats to detect trends and create strategic and operational recommendations based on that knowledge.
  • Writing client facing reports and presenting key findings to all levels of stakeholders involved.
  • Understanding the latest digital trends, and reporting this back to the wider team and clients as to how these can have an impact.  
  • Working with all other personnel to develop and achieve the company’s overall strategic goals as well as client goals. 
  • Being an ambassador for IMG, and always maintaining a professional approach. 
  • Other duties that are within the scope of the role may be required.

Knowledge and Experience 

  • Significant digital experience with insight into digital best practice for rightsholders, businesses and brands. This includes a global perspective on content trends and audience behaviors. 
  • Extensive professional experience in at least two of the following areas: 
  • Digital content production 
  • Digital innovation and technologies 
  • Content, social media and platform strategy (design and/or implementation) 
  • Commercial content experience (for example, branded content or social media monetisation) 
  • Experience of running social media channels or websites 
  • Performance and analytics monitoring, with a focus on digital channels 
  • In-depth knowledge of social media and specifically Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram and TikTok with experience working in a social media role   
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including strong presentation skills 
  • Highly numerate with experience of using spreadsheets to understand data as it relates to content and performance 
  • Organised, calm under pressure and an ability to meet tight, fixed deadlines (both internal and client)  
  • A general understanding of content marketing: research, campaign planning, audience segmentation, profiling and content targeting 
  • Experience leading parts, or all, of an organisation’s digital operations 
  • Experience using analytics platforms (e.g. Google, Facebook, Twitter) 
  • A solid understanding of the techniques of SEO relevant to social media platforms 
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office, in particular creating PowerPoint presentations and a knowledge of Photoshop

Working Conditions:

  • This is a permanent position 
  • This role will be based at Chiswick 
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings 
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule 
  • It is possible that this person may be embedded with a client on behalf of IMG as part of the role. 
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
