Job description

Location: Remote, must be based in UK

Job type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Why Midnite?

Midnite is a next-generation betting platform that is built for today’s fandom. We are a collective of engineers and designers who all share a passion for building the best sportsbook & casino experience possible, allowing our fans to feel closer to the games they love through the rush of winning money.

Unlike the alternatives, Midnite doesn't feel like a website built two decades ago. Instead, it's a cutting-edge creation, designed and constructed from the ground up with the latest technologies. Crafting an experience that's truly intuitive, immersive, and immediately understandable is no walk in the park, but we thrive on the challenge. We believe we're on the brink of creating something truly awesome.

The Role:

We’re looking for a bright, proactive, and detail-driven People Coordinator to join our high-performing and fast-paced People team. With the business growing rapidly, this is an exciting time to join us and have a real impact. You’ll be working directly with Olivia or Steph, our People Leads, helping to shape and deliver an exceptional employee experience across the full People lifecycle.

This role plays a pivotal part in the People team’s operations, providing first-line support on employee relations matters and helping to manage everything from onboarding to compliance to recognition. You’ll be at the heart of what makes Midnite a great place to work, supporting a global team across the UK, South Africa, the Philippines, and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Support the People team in delivering an excellent experience across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
  • Accurately draft offer letters and employment contracts for new joiners.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in our HR system, ensuring smooth updates, exits, and compliance.
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate reporting and payroll processing.
  • Track probation periods, contract changes, and right to work documentation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing timely and supportive responses.
  • Support on internal recognition, work anniversaries, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Get involved in internal projects, including policy updates, systems rollouts, and compliance tasks.

Why Join Us Now?
  • We’re scaling fast, with a headcount of 140+ and growing.
  • You’ll gain hands-on experience across the entire People function—from admin and systems to engagement and ER.
  • You’ll be exposed to exciting projects and tech, and gain insight into how a modern, high-growth business runs its People operations.
  • You’ll have the support and coaching of an experienced People team, while also owning your own workstreams.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A collaborative team player with a passion for People and a proactive approach to getting things done.
  • Someone who is highly organised and thrives on detail.
  • A confident communicator who can handle sensitive information with care and discretion.
  • Ideally someone with a background in English Literature or similar—strong writing and analytical skills are key.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight timelines while keeping a calm head.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and best practice in the UK (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • A CIPD Level 3 qualification or a relevant degree (or working towards one).
  • Previous experience with HR systems (HiBob, Workable, Microsoft Office, Slack & Google Suite)

What’s in it for you:
  • Shape our future: Play a key role in our team's success, where your voice matters, and you'll have a direct impact on shaping Midnite's future.
