DUTIES:
- Contribute to the entire software implementation process including driving the definition of improvements based on business need and architectural improvements.
- Act as the subject matter expert for MicroStrategy Analytics.
- Responsible for architecting how the MicroStrategy application will work within Centene's technical systems (databases, network, etc.).
- Responsible for implementing new reports for different software portals, as well as creating software code and solutions to automate those reports so that they can be run on a regular basis.
- Meet with business partners to understand technical business needs and to create and develop the overall design of software solutions.
- Design, build, and test software applications.
- Create test suites to ensure that the implementation of MicroStrategy and portal reports are functioning properly and performing as, or better, than expected.
- Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.
- Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: We will accept any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Researching and creating complex reports across multiple data sources for data analysis to be used by general business stakeholders. (2) Triaging and resolving data anomalies. (3) Creating executive level communications and report, applying architectural insight to enable driving deeper insights. (4) Using reporting tools including MicroStrategy and Business Objects. (5) Using SQL to derive reports per internal customer requirement and define and create table structure for data modeling using multi-dimensional models including snowflake or star.

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]
PAY RANGE: $138,552.27 to $154,700.00 per year
