Genesys is hiring a Sr. Director, Partner Sales, UKI position that is focused on creating and driving partnerships with global business & IT consulting firms that create demand and influence the adoption of Genesys by our common customers and prospects. As the leader of the business partnership between Genesys and our partners, the Sr. Director, Partner Sales is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing a global business plan. 

The business plan will be measured against key metrics such as annual revenue targets by named Partners and the quantity of net new deals sourced by same. In addition, the plan will outline business development activities that can positively influence local enterprise and commercial segment customers to select Genesys as their CX platform. The multi-year plan will define the strategy & actions that will drive revenue growth for Genesys solutions through the go-to-market initiatives and uniquely branded partner solution offerings. 

As a senior representative for Genesys, the Sr. Director, Partner Sales (UKI) will be involved in all aspects of relationship management between the key Partners and Genesys executives. This will include creating relationship plans to ensure executive sponsors are established within both organizations and that regular and relevant contact is performed to review the business performance of the partnership. 

As the leader of the overall business relationship for their named Partners, the Sr. Director, Partner Sales will lead a team of partner account managers and as well working with regional sales and partner leadership whose end-user customers would be engaging with the partners to advise them through their digital transformation projects. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement regional Partner plans, to measure/drive success and business impact. Defines joint ownership of each go-to-market initiative with key sponsors from within the partner ecosystem and relevant individuals from within Genesys functional groups.  
  • Quarterly review of the Partner plans with milestone metrics achieved or resolution plan developed. 
  • Actively drive Sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with global counterparts to leverage corporate initiatives and to ensure adherence to Partner standards. 
  • Adhere to rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues. Identify new customer wins and collaborate with partners on their implementation plans while addressing any challenges. Continuously qualify the landscape of each major competitor’s relationship with assigned Partners and develop aspects of global sales and relationship plan to increase Genesys share of wallet over competitors. 
  • Engage with C-level, actively driving SaaS Transformation, creating a common Business and Marketing plan, building relationships and trust, driving marketing and demand generation activities, planning, and facilitating education and certifications. 
  • Evangelize new SaaS technologies, discover new and innovative go-to-market models, actively influence, understand, and educate on Partner programs.  
  • Align with Partner Account Managers and Partner COE’s to deliver excellent Partner experience. 
  • Ability to travel up to 50%. 

Requirements  

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of related experience.
  • Ability to work on complex challenges and translate strategic priorities into actionable plans together with the team. 
  • Highly effective communicator to ensure shared goals are established and a dynamic approach to change, bringing people along with plans. 
  • Strong people management and desire to be a leadership role model. Enthusiastic about the growth and development of high-performing teams. 
  • Demonstrable acumen in SaaS sales with a desire to drive Genesys offerings within the EMEA market.  
  • Uses data to drive decisions and monitors success in the same way. 
  • A proven strong relationship builder with key stakeholders and the ability to influence. 
  • A problem solver with the ability to identify solutions in alignment with the company strategy and prioritize in an agile manner.  
  • Skilled at facilitating ease of doing business for Partners and customers. 
  • Experience in driving Partner-led Sales campaigns. 
  • Ability and/or willingness to work in non-routine and complex work environments, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills within IT and SaaS.
