The Solution Engineer serves as the lead advocate and trusted advisor for our customers and partners, translating business needs and technical requirements into solution recommendations. The individual must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural advantages and work with the Account Executive when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to address our customers’ challenges. 

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a background in unified communications - telephony, video, and collaboration tools. Knowledge of Zoom Workplace and/or in depth knowledge of other UC&C providers is preferred (8x8, Amazon, Cisco, Genesys, Microsoft, Mitel, RingCentral, etc). 

As a Solution Engineer, you will be working on: 

  • Delivering an AI-first collaboration platform to Zoom customers 
  • Designing the solution and architecture of Zoom solutions fit for the customers’ specific requirements
  • Building and conducting demos and proof of concepts (POCs) for prospective customers 
  • Enabling and providing business value proposition and technical support to the Zoom channel partner ecosystem in the Philippines
  • RFQ/RFP response/preparation 
  • Building competitive intelligence 
  • Working with cross-functional and global teams to develop features that are required in the Philippine market

We promote the use of our amazing Zoom tools we have to maximize all the resources at Zoom, though travel for customer and partner engagements is expected.

  • Fluent in Filipino and English
  • Technical sales experience in Collaboration SaaS technologies, i.e. cloud telephony, video conferencing, contact center
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional voice communications systems and applications 
  • Create, present, and document technical solutions 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence 
  • Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of technical experience in collaboration technologies 
  • 5+ years in a customer facing technical role required 
  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent
  • End-to-end IT systems knowledge 
  • Ability to apply IT Systems knowledge to customer solution design 
  • Understand Zoom partner and ecosystem partners, products, and applications 
  • Experience enabling and working with system integrators to craft solutions for customers
  • Act as a leader when the situation warrants 
  • Be flexible and able to function in a high growth environment
