Job description

Our firm is seeking a senior level Attorney for its high-volume foreclosure practice. The position requires client contact and a high-volume workload. License to practice law in North Carolina required. 

This is a remote position; however, the ideal candidate should reside in North Carolina. 

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the firm’s foreclosure and litigation departments
  • Work with and assist in supervision of junior attorneys, paralegals and support staff
  • Maintain the highest quality of work-product while helping clients achieve their goals and ensure firm policies and procedures are being followed
  • Monitor progress and develop strategies to effectively bring files to resolution
  • Develop and grow client relations

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Detailed knowledge of law and extensive experience related to creditors’ rights legal representation (real estate, foreclosure, litigation)
  • Working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application to foreclosure matters
  • Knowledge of Federal and State consumer protection statutes
  • North Carolina barred for at least 5 years
  •  5 years’ experience in Creditors’ Rights
  • Exercise a high-degree of professionalism
  • Creative problem solving; client development; leadership and motivational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written and electronic correspondence

Required Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the North Carolina Bar
