As our Senior Manager – Global IT Asset Management, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and continuously evolving R1’s Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) program within R1 RCM. This role entails maturing and maintaining HAM & SAM processes, policies, standards, tools, and metrics that help R1 effectively manage the IT asset portfolio (software and IT hardware) with regards to cost, control, risk, and compliance. Each day, you will oversee 7-10 IT Asset Management team members and be responsible for successful internal and external audit outcomes.
This role will require travel to onsite locations and will report into the Senior Director – EUT & IT Operations.
Responsibilities
Utilize ServiceNow’s ITAM Module (HAMPro and SAMPro) to build and maintain all R1’s IT Assets in a centralized location for
Drive the strategy for R1 RCM’s IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software) practice globally, aligned with local economic zoning regulation requirements
Ensure accurate and up-to-date process and policy documentation is maintained
Continuously mature ServiceNow’s HAMPro and SAMPro modules to automate and streamline ITAM workflows
Identify and implement process and data analysis automation solutions that utilize AI tools
Leverage ServiceNow Data Analytics to extract, transform and analyze data for reporting and decision-making purposes
Create partnerships with IT Platform Owners, End user support, ITSM, Sourcing and other relevant areas within/outside of IT
Ensure quality control IT assets data by developing and implementing appropriate procedures to track and manage the IT Assets throughout their lifecycle.
Safeguard IT Asset inventory and apply the information gathered to enable immediate corrective action on vulnerabilities, strengthen policy/governance, support audits, understand the software spend and manage end of life/end of services risk avoidance
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of ITIL Lifecycle Management experience with proficiency with ServiceNow’s ITAM, Flexera, One IT Visibility or similar IT asset management tools
Four plus years of hands-on ITAM experience in large complex organizations
Familiarity with ServiceNow Reporting, Data Analytics, Power BI, with the ability to analyze and visualize complex data sets, Practical experience with AI tools including prompting design, creation and implementation
Strong verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; ability to prioritize, drive quality support in an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; strong organizational skills, and ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously;
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, prioritize issues, deliver high quality, timely results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
