JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
CNS is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Manager to lead the organization’s enterprise data and AI strategies. This role is responsible for overseeing enterprise data systems, ensuring data quality and security, and driving digital innovation. The IT Manager will lead other IT leaders, foster a collaborative and adaptive team environment, and influence strategic initiatives through effective data governance and technology alignment.

This position will perform the following key responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of data and artificial intelligence strategies aligned with organizational goals

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to assess data needs, create system roadmaps, and support digital transformation efforts

  • Oversee enterprise data systems to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and regulatory compliance

  • Lead data governance practices and maintain a centralized data repository for digital initiatives

  • Develop and track IT service performance metrics to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement

  • Assist with budget planning and monitor IT expenditures

  • Ensure business continuity through effective disaster recovery planning

  • Manage project delivery by balancing scope, quality, schedule, budget, and risk

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain a collaborative IT culture by empowering staff with autonomy and accountability

  • Mentor and coach managers, supervisors, and team members to support career growth and conflict resolution

  • Identify and develop high-potential talent through succession planning

  • Inspire innovation and adaptability by leading through organizational change

  • Communicate system and technology changes to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities

  • Assess workforce capabilities and align staff skills with strategic priorities

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Proven IT leadership experience, including managing other leaders and supervisors

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, and enterprise data strategy

  • Proficiency in database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server

  • Experience with data integration tools and technologies

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI

  • Exposure to machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard IT and office equipment including computers, servers, phones, and cloud-based systems.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with additional hours as needed to support projects or respond to system issues.
