Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence (Supply Chain/Procurement)

QISG is seeking a Senior Analyst –Business IntelIigence to transform operational and supplier data into powerful insights that influence strategic sourcing, category management, and financial performance.

This is not your typical data or business analyst role. It’s a high-impact, cross-functional position where technical expertise meets strategic thinking. You’ll dive deep into both micro and macro data across the enterprise, helping shape decisions that directly affect supply chain effectiveness and organizational growth.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions, dashboards, and custom reports to monitor performance and identify improvement areas.
• Collaborate with sourcing, finance, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver analytics that drive decision-making.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on cost drivers and business performance changes.
• Automate and optimize ETL processes for efficient data handling.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to QISG’s enterprise-wide analytics roadmap.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a compelling, actionable way.
• Stay ahead of BI trends, tools, and best practices to enhance capabilities.
• Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities by analyzing supplier and operational data.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data for strategic planning and business cases.

What You Bring

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field – or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 5+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain Analytics.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement functions.
• Experience in the electric utilities industry is a plus.

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Power BI (Intermediate–Expert): DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and visual storytelling.
• Excel (Expert): Advanced functions, pivot tables, automation.
• SQL: Proficient in querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and relational databases.
• Strong data visualization and custom dashboard design skills.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards (JDE), Salesforce, Coupa preferred.
• Experience with Python or R and statistical modeling is a plus.
