Job description

The Opportunity

Illumio has a great opportunity for a Payroll Analyst to join our fast-growing company. The Payroll Analyst role is perfect for those with a payroll, HR, business, and/or data analysis background who are looking for a chance to contribute to Company’s history of success. The Payroll Analyst performs a variety of technical and confidential duties related to the processing and administration of employee payroll; to ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely fashion and to ensure compliance with applicable laws, guidelines, and mandates; prepare, process, maintain and assure accuracy of a variety of employee information, records, and reports.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist in performing a variety of technical and confidential duties related to the processing and administration of employee payroll globally
  • Assist preparing and generating payrolls for all employees including withholding for taxes, social security, unemployment insurance, and retirement.
    • Monthly payroll process for EMEA and APAC.
    • Semi-monthly payroll process for AMERICA (US and Canada).
    • May process off cycle payrolls as needed.
  • Update employee records and other deductions as authorized. Calculate and process garnishments, levies, and other adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with Human Resources staff on semi-monthly and monthly payroll related processes including but not limited to employee termination, additional pay, and overpayment/underpayment analysis and resolution.
  • Provide support to employees regarding payroll, time and labor, and tax concerns.
  • Assist with employment verification worldwide.
  • Assist with document gathering for audits.
  • Assist in preparing reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Process equity exercises on as needed basis.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years’ related experience in an analytical role
  • Solid computer skills with a proficiency in Excel a must; experience with V-lookup and pivot tables a plus.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize all necessary software programs.
  • Ability to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines with flexibility.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
