About the Role:
As an Executive Director of Business Development, you will be at the forefront of creating and shaping complex deals that align with client imperatives. This strategic, individual contributor role requires you to lead and manage opportunities from initial sales qualification to closure. Utilizing enterprise solution selling and practice area expertise, you will develop productive relationships with key decision-makers at new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Selling and Business Growth: Originate, shape, and commercially enable complex sales opportunities. Build and maintain an active target list and deal funnel.
- Client Relationship Management: Proactively generate and build new client relationships from qualification to close. Maintain C-level relationships across multiple disciplines.
Leadership: Provide clear leadership to virtual pursuit teams, acting as an advisor and coach to develop win strategies.
- Value Proposition: Articulate a compelling and differentiated value proposition that aligns with the prospect’s business outcomes.
Negotiation: Lead business negotiations for complex transactions and opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio leaders and practice leaders to leverage relevant subject matter experts.
- Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and report on sales performance, tracking key metrics and providing regular updates to Sales Leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in B2B sales and as an individual contributor.
- Proven experience in the CX tech and/or BPO marketplace, closing complex B2B deals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and become a trusted advisor.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other relevant tools.
- Self-starter with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
