We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Compliance Specialist to join our regulatory and safety team. This role is critical in ensuring our drone operations comply with FAA regulations and Percepto’s internal standards.The ideal candidate is a quick learner and is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels within the company. 


Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze operational sites in the Flight Management System to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Percepto policies.
  • Evaluate operational readiness of new and existing sites; ensure documentation and procedures are compliant and complete.
  • Conduct full-spectrum regulatory compliance audits, including identifying issues, writing reports, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain a structured audit program including schedules, tracking, reporting, and closure of findings.
  • Lead or support community outreach initiatives related to UAS operations.
  • Support the development and delivery of audit programs.
  • Contribute to the development of safety procedures.
  • Maintain and organize digital files and folders within Google Drive, ensuring logical structure and ease of access for team members.
  • Industry-specific, workplace safety compliance guidelines, complete audits (OSHA)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in UAS, Aviation, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance or aviation safety (preferably in the UAS industry)
  • Strong understanding of drone operations, airspace classifications, and aviation safety protocols
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 107 and OSHA regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or Part 61 Pilot Certificate preferred
  • Experience with GIS tools or geospatial data review is a plus
