Role Summary

The Director of Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive customer retention, engagement, and revenue through owned marketing channels — including email, SMS, push notifications, and other personalized messaging.

This role will oversee the full customer lifecycle, from onboarding to loyalty and re-engagement, using automation, segmentation, and real-time data to create high-performing customer journeys. The ideal candidate brings expertise in CRM strategy, AI-powered personalization, and collaborative campaign development.

You’ll work closely with our Creative Director to design compelling messaging, and with Demand Gen and BI teams to ensure alignment across data, channels, and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy to nurture, retain, and re-engage customers
  • Build automated, multi-step journeys triggered by customer behavior, service history, geography, and seasonality
  • Own segmentation strategy and campaign logic across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service lines
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop personalized content and dynamic campaign assets
  • Partner with BI to leverage Domo dashboards and data models that inform targeting and optimization
  • Work with Demand Gen to ensure lifecycle efforts complement broader media strategies
  • Define success metrics (e.g., LTV, repeat rate, churn reduction) and lead continuous testing and performance analysis
  • All other duties as assigned

What You Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field is preferred
  • 5–7 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing
  • Proven ability to manage cross-channel automation (email, SMS, push)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Hatch, DOMO< Email platforms)
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, behavior-based triggers, and campaign testing
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside creative, data, and growth teams
  • Bonus: Experience in home services, multi-location, or franchise-based businesses
