We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to join our team in Mexico. This role will be critical in ensuring that our operations adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.

Responsibilities: 

  • Implement and manage an effective legal compliance team. 

  • Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports. 

  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations. 

  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk. 

  • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes. 

  • Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance. 

  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments within or outside of the company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues. 

  • Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager or similar role. 

  • Experience in a fintech environment is strongly preferred. 

  • In-depth knowledge of industry’s standards and regulations. 

  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping. 

  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality. 

  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities. 

  • An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations. 

  • Excellent communication skills. 

  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or related field. 

  • Certified compliance professional is a plus. 

Base Annual Salary: 785,000 - 952,000 pesos
