Job description

This is a remote role in the Midwest to Eastern portion of the U.S. only!

We are seeking a Sales Executive who will serve as the primary Smart Care leader for our key customers. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing business opportunities—while also ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth post-sale.

The Sales Executive builds long-term, strategic relationships across customer organizations and drives business by understanding customer needs and aligning Smart Care’s solutions accordingly.  Success in this role demands a blend of technical acumen, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate >$4M annually in project business, paired with service agreements, through proactive sales activity.
  • Develop trusted relationships across all customer levels, embedding Smart Care into their daily decision-making.
  • Navigate complex organizations to build champions and increase internal visibility.
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline, delivering on monthly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless project execution per scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Resolve customer issues through cross-functional coordination and continuous process improvement.
  • Analyze customer maintenance and repair data to uncover insights and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute annual strategic account plans, including growth targets and performance reviews.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews to present performance metrics and identify strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of successful experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Technical Sales.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication (oral and written) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Skilled in managing priorities with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Proven track record in executing structured sales processes and closing complex deals.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and customer engagement skills.
  • Results-driven with a passion for driving business success.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is a plus.
