Job description

Our client is a dynamic marketing agency specializing in influencer strategy and digital campaigns that connect brands with their target audiences effectively. They are seeking a Junior Account Manager to support client success by managing key relationships, ensuring flawless campaign delivery, and driving account growth. Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 6 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Growth:

    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow client accounts by collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored strategies.

    • Present upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on a thorough understanding of client needs and objectives.

  • Campaign Oversight:

    • Lead the execution of client campaigns, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and exceeding expectations.

    • Work cross-functionally with Talent, Operations, and other teams to coordinate campaign elements and troubleshoot issues.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships through proactive communication.

    • Understand clients’ business challenges and industry trends to provide strategic guidance and solutions.

  • Contract Renewals and Retention:

    • Manage contract renewal negotiations, aiming to maximize retention and minimize churn.

    • Implement client retention strategies and maintain high renewal rates.

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate and timely data entry for client information, campaign details, and performance metrics.

    • Organize and categorize records to ensure easy retrieval and reference.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate on contract reviews with leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    • Attend client calls when necessary to gather insights and report back to senior team members.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 2+ years in account management, client services, or a related role within marketing or advertising.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and manage client expectations.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data management abilities.

    • Strategic thinker with a focus on driving client growth and satisfaction.

    • Comfortable working collaboratively across internal teams and with external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge:

    • Understanding of influencer marketing, digital campaigns, or similar marketing disciplines is a plus.

    • Familiarity with contract processes and client retention strategies preferred.

What Success Looks Like

  • Achieving at least 20% annual growth in revenue from existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

  • Maintaining a client retention rate of 95% or higher with strong client satisfaction feedback.

  • Delivering 90%+ of client campaigns on time and within scope, meeting or exceeding expectations.

  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as a reliable partner.

  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and positive client outcomes.
