This is a temporary position that will last for about 6 months.

Job Summary:

Support the implementation of marketing programs, including but not limited to direct mail, telerecruitment, eMarketing, and broadcast voice messaging. Provide operational support for marketing and communications activities within or across applicable systems to include projects, feedback activities, and/or data initiatives. Provide excellent customer care and ensure satisfaction by addressing information requests, resolving complaints, and/or altering records to ensure accurate information. Contribute to goals to maintain the organization’s image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex operational support or administrative duties leveraging one or multiple systems/databases with little supervision, exercising confidentiality, independent discretion, and judgment.
  • Prepare reports and studies as requested, following communication and/or applicable protocols.
  • Perform audits to ensure accurate communication within guidelines and regulations.
  • Produce presentations or other documents as needed.
  • Work with multiple databases and/or systems to conduct data entry, generate lists, and assist with various printing needs to support marketing activities.
  • Assist data entry staff with information and training as needed.
  • Coordinate work with internal and external audiences, including vendors, and identify appropriate escalation paths for work activities as needed.
  • Resolve issues directly and/or work with staff to escalate and resolve quickly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute the response to a request, including direct contact with the requestor.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all touchpoints.
  • Identify and execute on appropriate escalation paths for work activities as needed.
  • Coordinate activities with peers to ensure streamlined touchpoints throughout the customer care experience.
  • Audit customer care touchpoints to ensure efficiencies and excellent customer service.
  • Lead special operational initiatives as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • May specialize in one or more operational elements to support marketing campaign implementation.

Qualifications: 

  • High school or equivalent with specialized business or administrative training required.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible operational experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management in marketing organizations is preferred.
  • Advanced level of computer skill proficiency, including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications, website/internet tools, and Microsoft Office applications, is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in providing operational support and/or customer care required. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff, media, volunteers, donors, and the general public is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and technical skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work on a team.
