Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with business development in a dynamic legal environment. As a Bilingual Legal Assistant & Business Development Representative, you’ll serve as a crucial bridge between attorneys and clients while driving firm growth through strategic outreach and relationship building. You’ll handle diverse responsibilities from client communication and interpretation services to prospect follow-up and review management. This role offers significant growth potential, commission opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on both client satisfaction and business success in a fast-paced criminal defense practice.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic outbound calling campaigns to prospects and existing clients for relationship building and business development
  • Provide professional bilingual support for both English and Spanish-speaking clients through inbound call management
  • Deliver real-time interpretation services during critical attorney-client consultations and three-way calls
  • Execute systematic review solicitation campaigns by following up with closed cases to secure Google reviews and client testimonials
  • Manage and update client portal systems for comprehensive prospect tracking and case management
  • Handle payment follow-up processes for outstanding client balances through portal-based systems
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling and attorney calendar management for optimal client service
  • Facilitate seamless live call transfers to attorneys when immediate consultation is needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service while professionally managing challenging client situations and escalations
  • Drive business growth through targeted outreach to cold prospects, past clients, and existing client base
Requirements
  • Native or near-native fluency in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing, and interpretation)
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service roles with demonstrated success in client relationship building
  • Confidence and expertise in outbound calling, cold calling, and prospect engagement
  • Exceptional professional communication skills with ability to represent a prestigious law firm brand
  • Experience managing difficult client situations with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Proficiency with online portals, case management systems, and basic computer applications
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills for handling multiple priorities
  • Commitment to full-time schedule during standard business hours with flexibility for urgent client needs
