We are over 550 professionals and currently looking for a Lead Presales Engineer.

Job Description

At Gcore we are in the exciting early stages of bringing a cost-effective and innovative public cloud products to the market. We are seeking a Lead Presales Engineer to play a pivotal role in managing multiple cloud products from the technical and business point of view.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build, standardize, and improve presales and account management processes: deal tracking, account/project handling, CRM and billing hygiene, onboarding workflows.
  • Lead and grow the Cloud Pre-Sales team: onboard, coach, and continuously develop team skills and best practices.
  • Participate in customer engagements directly: run discovery sessions, PoC, prepare tailored solutions and technical proposals, deliver demos and workshops, assist with RFP/RFI.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to support sales cycles, grow existing customer portfolios, and proactively identify upsell opportunities.
  • Own and report on presales performance metrics: time to response, conversion rate, upsell volume, pipeline support, and forecast accuracy.
  • Act as a technical and operational bridge between customers, sales, product, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

We Expect You to Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting (cloud infrastructure or related domains).
  • Proven experience leading a team or coordinating cross-functional pre-sales or solution delivery projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with public or private clouds: AIaaS, GPU, IaaS, Bare Metal, Networking, PaaS, VMware, OpenStack, etc.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), billing systems, and experience building repeatable internal processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Confident public speaker and workshop facilitator with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
