Job description

About the client 

Our client is a dynamic and growing freight forwarding company committed to ensuring full regulatory compliance across our operations. We are seeking a proactive and analytical Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our compliance programs across TSA, CTPAT, FMC, and company-wide risk management.

Key Responsibilities

TSA Compliance

  • Support and manage STA administration under TSA regulations.

  • Maintain IACMS and Veroot databases.

  • Conduct weekly compliance checks on air export dispatchers for trucker/warehouse IACMS adherence.

  • Perform Known Shipper searches via KSMS for the Air Export team.

  • Carry out monthly TSA compliance audits.

CTPAT Compliance

  • Manage the CTPAT portal and vendor outreach initiatives.

  • Administer and collect annual CTPAT compliance surveys.

  • Maintain and update relevant policies and procedures.

  • Learn the CTPAT program in-depth, perform gap analyses, and drive continuous program improvements.

FMC Compliance

  • Collaborate with management and outside counsel to assess gaps and lead FMC compliance improvements.

Company-Wide Compliance & Risk Management

  • Develop and manage Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and broader risk assessments.

  • Create and maintain corporate compliance policies and procedures.

  • Design and implement a threat and cybersecurity threat response program.

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly compliance reviews in partnership with operations, accounting, and leadership teams.

  • Train operational teams on compliance procedures and updates.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
