Raytheon is seeking a strong candidate to join the Mechanical Commodities acquisition team as a Commodity Management & Sourcing professional.  This position will manage medium and high complexity machining, sheet metal, and casting commodity procurements.  The procurement professional will operate as the focal point interface to handle communications between Raytheon Programs and suppliers. This role can be filled in a variety of Raytheon hub locations and is remote work-from-home. 

What You Will Do:

Lead Supplier interaction and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to manage a variety of procurements including but not limited to build-to-print, performance specifications, Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), with medium/high complexity.

Select qualified suppliers and seek alternate suppliers (when applicable).

Develop and Manage RFI and RFQs.

Prepare POs and PO documentation in accordance with company directives, prime contract flow downs and company work instructions. Post-award management of POs to be handled in accordance with company directives and work instructions.

Manage Suppliers to meet Program requirements with the desired quality and delivery.

Prepare and execute various types of agreements, such as: PIAs, Long Term Agreements, Bailment, etc.

Minimal travel.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements

Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions)

Experience with supplier management

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite of Products

Prior experience with multiple subcontract types including but not limited to Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF)

Experience with reading and understanding drawings, specifications and other engineering documents including complex SOWs

Experience with proposals from prospective suppliers and analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability, conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule

Knowledge of EXIM procurements and all the rules and regulations involved in those situations

Experience with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
