Job description

This is a remote position.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Representative.

Job Summary:
Pharmavise is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help drive strategic growth across our core markets — biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare, and government consulting (GovCon). As a GxP regulatory compliance consulting firm, we specialize in delivering expert consulting services, not products. The BDR will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and advancing high-value leads and opportunities in both the commercial and government sectors.

Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
1. Client Development & Growth:
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at biotech, med device, pharma, healthcare, and government contracting firms.
• Support strategic business development goals by identifying target accounts for prime contracts, subcontracting partnerships, and teaming arrangements.

2. Sales & Lead Generation:
• Uncover and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, follow-ups, cold outreach, referrals, and CRM-sourced opportunities.
• Coordinate and facilitate initial discovery meetings, capabilities presentations, and proposal discussions with prospective clients.

3. Proposal & Contract Development:
• Assist in drafting tailored responses to RFPs, RFIs, teaming proposals, and statements of work (SOWs).

4. Partnerships & Subcontracting:
• Identify, build, and nurture subcontracting relationships with firms that hold both commercial and federal contracts.
• Generate teaming opportunities and assist in vetting partner qualifications for government solicitations and commercial engagements.

5. Market Research & Strategy
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform sales strategies.
• Recommend targeting approaches based on emerging trends in life sciences and government services.

6. CRM & Reporting:
• Accurately document leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity in the CRM system (Zoho).
• Provide regular sales metrics, progress reports, and market intelligence to leadership.

7. Collaboration:
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, recruiting, and delivery teams to align messaging, coordinate outreach campaigns, and support pre-sales initiatives.
• Partner with Marketing to promote company services, assist in lead-nurturing campaigns, and support event follow-up.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of business development, sales, or client acquisition experience (preferably in consulting, staffing, or life sciences).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business related field.
• Proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation ability.
• Proven experience in lead generation using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and similar prospecting platforms is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; experience using CRM systems (Zoho preferred).
• Prior experience working with U.S. clients or in the U.S. market is required.
• Understanding of GxP compliance, life sciences industry terminology, and regulatory consulting services strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with the federal contracting landscape (FAR, subcontracting, teaming, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Other Details:
• Schedule: 7:30 PM – 3:30 AM Philippine Time
• Contract: Independent Contractor - 1 month probation & 6 months contract renewable
• Fully Remote
