About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Cybersecurity Engineering Operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing a multi-disciplinary team supporting SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), cloud security, and network security solutions. As a senior leader, you will provide technical and operational leadership, align engineering capabilities with business objectives, and ensure the highest level of protection for the organization’s digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight for cybersecurity engineering teams focused on:

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

  • Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)

  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

  • Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)

  • Cloud and network security solutions

  • Develop and drive the execution of a comprehensive engineering roadmap aligned with enterprise security strategy and threat landscape evolution.

  • Lead operational excellence across security platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

  • Foster collaboration across Security Operations, IT, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams to drive integrated security solutions.

  • Build and manage high-performing teams; recruit, mentor, and retain top cybersecurity talent.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR).

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness, team productivity, and project delivery.

  • Communicate program objectives and results clearly to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.

  • Proven experience managing cybersecurity operations and engineering teams at scale.

  • Deep understanding of modern security technologies including SIEM (e.g., Splunk), SOAR platforms, EDR (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), threat intelligence platforms, and cloud-native security tools (AWS, Azure).

  • Experience designing and implementing security controls in hybrid and cloud environments.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, prioritize initiatives, and deliver results under tight deadlines.


Preferred Certifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.

  • Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate).

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
