This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 35-40 hours/week; Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Las Vegas time, 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description

This dynamic role combines financial management with high-level administrative support for a thriving veterinary practice. You’ll be instrumental in establishing and maintaining proper bookkeeping processes while supporting customer service operations for both the medical practice and luxury boarding facility. This position offers the unique opportunity to work with a forward-thinking practice that’s implementing new systems and processes. You’ll have direct interaction with leadership and the ability to make meaningful improvements to business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily bookkeeping operations including account reconciliation and financial classifications
  • Process accounts payable and receivable while maintaining accurate financial records
  • Coordinate with external accountants to ensure proper financial reporting
  • Handle customer inquiries and manage appointment scheduling system
  • Support reception operations for both veterinary clinic and luxury pet hotel
  • Manage digital waitlist system for walk-in appointments
  • Facilitate communication between remote and on-site team members
  • Process customer payments and maintain financial documentation
  • Generate financial reports and assist with business analytics


Requirements

  • Previous experience with Quickbooks online (required)
  • MUST HAVE WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
  • Strong proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
  • Experience with veterinary or medical office administration preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous remote work experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with financial information
  • Must be available during U.S. Pacific time zone business hours
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in customer service and multi-tasking
