Senior Account Executive – Retail SaaS Sales

Location: Remote (Must have airport access and be willing to travel up to 50%)

Compensation: Competitive base + uncapped commission (50/50 split, pilot bonuses included, subject to change)

What You’ll Do

• Own the Sales Cycle – From prospecting to close, drive SaaS sales to large and mid-sized retailers, selling to CIOs, CTOs, and Operations leaders.

• Leverage Your Network – Engage with retail executives, consulting firms, and integrators to drive new business.

• Manage Complex Deals – Lead negotiations, contract structuring, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

• Execute a Proven Sales Process – Develop and close $3-5M in annual recurring revenue, with deal sizes ranging from $300K to $1M+ SaaS ACV.

• Strategize for Success – Use account-based selling to drive long-term growth, leveraging pilot programs (2-6 months typical sales cycle) to land and expand.

• Navigate Retail Technology Trends – Sell into RFID-first environments while preparing for non-RFID expansion in the future.


What You Bring

• 5+ years of proven SaaS sales success selling into retail enterprises.

• Strong industry network with decision-makers in retail tech, consulting, and system integration.

• Proven track record of closing enterprise SaaS deals, negotiating contracts, and managing deal lifecycles.

• Deep understanding of retail operations, RFID technology, and inventory management solutions.

• Ability to work independently – you’ll get leads from internal sources, but no SDR/BDR team is in place.

• Strong executive presence – confident in engaging and presenting to C-suite retail executives.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet clients and close deals.
