The Business Development Representative is responsible for research and create business opportunities for Fortress sales team. Daily duties will include record keeping, follow up on leads and understand the needs of prospective clients.

- A competitive spirit and desire to meet and exceed sales goals
- Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting
- Fearless and realize sales development is about pushing through the "no" to get to the "yes".

- Ability to effectively work with a team of sales and marketing professionals
- Motivated to become a subject matter expert (SME) for the team around sales development

- Able to travel occasionally for trade shows and other meetings
Essential Job Functions
- Understand prospects needs and help them discover how our products meet those needs
- Researching and identifying new strategic accounts
- Follow sales cadences to qualify leads and create opportunities for the business development sales team
- Achieve provided sales quota
- Qualify outbound leads
- Regularly research prospect opportunities for breakthrough opportunities
- Regularly research top competitors and industry news
- Detailed record keeping within HubSpot/CRM management
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Specific Education Or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or 1 year related work experience required
- Knowledge of real estate industry or property management preferred
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Frequently sit, stand and walk
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary

This position requires travel up to 10% of the time
