TENx10 Marketing Project Manager


DEPT: TENx10

HOURS: 40 PER WEEK
FT/PT/TEMP: FULL-TIME

EXEMPT STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: TENx10 Marketing Project Manager


Brief Description: 


The TENx10 Collaboration is a national discipleship movement with the mission to make faith matter more for ten million young people over ten years. We are a fast-moving, creative, energetic, remote team that works across denominational, racial, and cultural lines to elevate relational discipleship radically focused on Jesus and transform the ecosystem of Christianity in the US.


The TENx10 Marketing Project Manager will work closely with the TENx10 Director of Marketing and Communications to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of marketing strategies, and excellent communication and leadership skills to manage both internal teams and external contractors.


This position is available for remote work within most of the United States. Subject to payroll state approval by Fuller Theological Seminary.


Essential Functions:


  • Project Planning and Strategy Development

    • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and plans across multiple channels (digital, traditional, events, etc.).

    • Define project goals, timelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with stakeholders.

    • Manage project scope, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.


  • Cross-functional Team Leadership

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including events, design, resources, and social media, to drive successful campaigns that align with project goals and timelines. 

    • Coordinate with senior leadership to ensure that project and campaign goals align with the overall TENx10 strategy.

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture while guiding team members to meet deadlines and achieve milestones.

    • Promote leadership and accountability within the marketing team to maintain a productive and engaged workforce.


  • Campaign Management and Execution

    • Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the project plan.

    • Ensure all marketing materials, campaigns, and initiatives meet TENx10’s quality standards, brand guidelines, and legal requirements.

    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to optimize results.


  • Continuous Improvement

    • Stay informed on industry trends, marketing technologies, and best practices, recommending new approaches for continuous improvement in marketing strategies and project management processes.

    • Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the marketing team, encouraging the adoption of new tools and methodologies.

  • Vendor and Partner Management

    • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and third-party partners, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of marketing deliverables.

    • Manage partner relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Project Management

    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Organize and maintain design files for easy access and future revisions.


Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Demonstrated passion for the mission of TENx10 with church ministry or youth ministry knowledge and experience preferred

  • Proficient with marketing platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp, Monday, or similar CRM and marketing automation tools.

  • Experience with project management tools like Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project to organize tasks and timelines.

  • Experience managing content on platforms such as Webflow, WordPress, or Squarespace is a plus.

  • Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in marketing and project management.

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 

  • Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, Scrum, or similar) is a plus.

  • Preferred 5+ years experience on a marketing or project management team

  • High attention to deadlines, accuracy, and details

  • Attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Ability to organize, track and follow-up on numerous details and projects

  • Ability to delegate work to external content creators

  • Ability to learn quickly, including creativity in problem-solving and trouble-shooting 

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team


Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours at a time

  • Able to bend, grasp, and reach

  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Requires repetitive motions and sitting at computer keyboard

  • Able to hear and speak on the telephone

  • Able to read, take notes, and view a computer monitor

  • Able to conduct business with other Fuller offices

Pay Scale:

  • Hourly rate seminary expects to pay: $28.85 - $33.65 per hour
