Our Global Nielsen Campaign Analytics Client Insights & Delivery (CID) team works collaboratively to deliver actionable recommendations that help clients win in the marketplace. About the Job

The Senior Client Insights & Delivery Analyst will be part of a fast-paced team responsible for dealing directly with media companies and their agency/advertiser clients on a daily basis to understand an advertiser’s campaign, advising on survey or study setup, and providing analysis on the campaign’s performance, all while maintaining a high level of quality assurance throughout each step of the process. As a Senior Analyst on the CID team, you may design studies to measure ad effectiveness on media platforms of all kinds from digital, to social, to streaming, to podcasting, and beyond. Additionally, our analysts will assist in developing and performing deep-dive custom analyses under the guidance of research leads.

Responsibilities
  • Build trust-based relationships with Campaign Analytics (CA) Clients, Sales, Research, Operations/Support teams, Product, and DSci. 
  • Partner with other CID associates and Sales to help present solutions that allow clients to grow their business via CA solutions; gain in-depth Product knowledge to be able to address methodology and execution questions with oversight from more experienced team members.
  • Translate business needs into more specific questions, which can then be solved by CA solutions and with the benefits that Nielsen solutions uniquely deliver.
  • Independently support client teams through designing, executing, and presenting results. 
  • Ensure proactive insights and action-oriented solutions are delivered to the Client.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams;  Investigate when issues are discovered and proactively work to help find the root cause and resolve them with the appropriate parties
  • Create detailed research analyses focused on the effectiveness and efficiency of advertising using established test vs. control methodology to determine the lift driven by the measured campaigns. 
  • Perform rigorous quality assurance checks on test setup, data quality, and presentation materials to ensure that best practices are being followed.
  • Maintain accurate records of study timelines, completed milestones, and presentation dates, and stay in regular communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure all are kept up to date on status and timelines.

  • Qualifications
  • 2-4 years experience in analytics and/or media or marketing planning
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to grasp new concepts easily, and be able to present them in a simplified manner to clients and potential prospects
  • Technical proficiency in Office/Google Suite of software solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Media and advertising industry knowledge is a strong plus
  • Stats background a strong plus
  • Past experience in digital media buying/planning and marketing analytics is a strong plus
  • Experience with Syndicated data sets such as Nielsen IQ and/or IRI is a strong plus

    A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be $50,000 - $185,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location.  The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
