Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive who thrives in fast-paced, high ownership environments and has a strong understanding of the modern data stack. This is a 100% net new logo acquisition role focused on mid-market and enterprise accounts across North America. You’ll play a critical role in helping CTOs, Head of Data, and Product leaders modernize their data infrastructure and accelerate time to insights and AI applications with 5X.
What You Will Do own and execute the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution mapping, negotiation, and close
Develop and maintain a 3–5X qualified outbound pipeline at all times
Strategically sell to senior stakeholders including CTOs, Head of Data, Product, and Analytics.
Position 5X as a high-impact, time-to-value alternative to traditional DIY data stacks.
Collaborate closely with Product, SDR, Marketing, and Partnerships to close complex multi-stakeholder deals.
Maintain a rigorous cadence of outreach and follow-ups with personalized, insight-led messaging
Qualifications
5+ years of Account Executive experience, ideally with exposure to the data ecosystem (modern data stack, Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, etc.)
Track record of closing complex, consultative deals in North America
Ability to identify critical use cases and business pains, and translate them into compelling narratives
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a high-trust environment
High EQ and strong executive presence—able to lead multi-threaded sales cycles
