Job description

We are seeking a driven, curious, and data-savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Commercial team. This role will support the sales organization in delivering wins with our target clients, combining strategic content development with active prospecting and lead generation for our sales organization. You'll be responsible for analyzing high-value target accounts and identifying targets, partner across teams to create compelling sales materials & deliver customized outreach campaigns, and directly support commercial leaders. The ideal candidate will excel at both researching potential clients and crafting persuasive content, consistently driving new opportunities while helping our team engage prospects with differentiated messaging and insights.

Responsibilities
  • Use Simbe materials to develop compelling, insight-driven presentations that challenge traditional retail thinking
  • Create and customize sales materials that transform customer conversations, help prospects understand unexpected opportunities, and articulate how Simbe’s value propositions directly address prospects’ challenges
  • Optimize GTM processes by ensuring Sales follow-ups, creating feedback opportunities for Sales & Marketing, reporting on reasons for outcomes, and overall strengthening our commercial abilities
  • Work with marketing & sales to build & deliver content that demonstrates deep industry expertise and new perspectives
  • Generate and qualify leads through targeted research and prospecting
  • Conduct deep company research to identify key decision-makers, stakeholder priorities and strategic opportunities, and partner with Sales and Marketing on outreach strategies
  • Support outreach efforts for events and campaigns including pre-event preparation (including lead gen) and post-event follow-up
  • Execute tailored outreach strategies for different customer segments
  • Partner with marketing to track engagement metrics and optimize approach based on results
  • Assist with coordinating executive meetings and presentations
  • Help maintain pipeline of opportunities across target accounts
  • Map connections across target accounts to existing contacts
  • Help maintain CRM data quality and completeness
  • Track key sales metrics
  • Support sales team with basic reporting needs & connect with marketing on how to streamline reporting & operations
  • Organize and categorize prospect information
  • Contribute to regular reporting on commercial activities and performance; partner with marketing & sales leads to optimize processes & tools

  • Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Revenue Operations, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support, business analysis, or consulting / PE or IB
  • Experience conducting deep company research, identifying decision-makers and lead generation
  • Client-facing experience in professional settings
  • Passion for developing solutions to client needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent time management and task follow-through
  • Proficiency with presentation software and content creation tools
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking capability that challenges conventional wisdom

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Experience creating compelling pitch materials and presentations
  • Experience creating thought-provoking content that reshapes customer thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives
  • Knowledge of retail industry and/or robotics
  • Strong research skills with ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • Experience with data enrichment tools
