Sr Director/Director, Client Partner

The Client Partner will be responsible for driving strategic growth for non-profit clients by forging lasting relationships, delivering data-driven fundraising and marketing solutions, and leading high-performance teams to achieve exceptional results. This role is ideal for a client-centric leader who thrives on uncovering new opportunities, deepening client engagement, and optimizing performance across channels. The Client Partner works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver program performance, budgets, and strategic growth plans that meet and exceed client goals. The Client Partner should have a thorough knowledge of the industry and the ability to build relationships for new business opportunities. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Client Leadership
  1. Serve as primary point of contact and accountability for each client, ensuring strategic alignment, satisfaction and proactive resolution of any potential concerns
  2. Lead quarterly business reviews and senior stakeholder communications
  3. Maintain a deep understanding of each client’s mission, brand and growth priorities to proactively offer strategic, innovative solutions 
  4. Offer insights on market trends and competitive landscape

 

  • Solutions Development and Delivery
  1. Lead cross-functional teams through development of integrated marketing strategies that drive client objectives across digital, traditional and emerging marketing channels
  2. Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, optimize programs and deliver clear, actionable reporting to clients
  3. Stay current on marketing, technology and industry trends to bring fresh perspectives and innovation to client work
  4. Partner with internal teams to ensure services and deliverables uphold agency standards for excellence, creativity and optimal results

 

  • Business Development
  1. Drive agency growth by participating in new business opportunities, supporting prospective client proposal development and pitches, and identifying opportunities that expand programs or services within existing client portfolios
  2. Contribute to a repository of client success case studies and thought leadership
  3. Represent agency at industry events or conferences
  4. Track progress of client growth opportunities within agency CRM

 

  • Corporate Responsibilities
  1. Oversee account profitability, budget forecasting, and resource planning to ensure financial health and operational efficiency
  2. Build and mentor a high-performing client service team providing leadership, professional development and performance management
  3. Contribute to identifying or onboarding process improvements or scalable tools that can elevate client experience and agency operations

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-12 years of direct response marketing experience, preferably with experience in non-profit sectors. 
  • Proven success in client leadership, revenue growth, and program optimization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms preferred.
  • Previous account services and fundraising experience required.
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

 

 

 

LOCATION: Remote, U.S. Some travel required.

Pay range expected for the position: $80,000 to $115,000 annually.

(The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate)
