Job Title: Senior YouTube Marketer & Podcast Producer
Location: Remote
Position Type: Full-time
Reports To: Executive Leadership
Job Summary:
The Senior YouTube Marketer and Podcast Producer is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the growth, visibility, and business impact of a video-first content engine anchored by a recurring podcast and YouTube channel. This role is ideal for a seasoned content marketing and production leader who can own the full lifecycle of branded media—from audience acquisition strategy and guest booking to post-production oversight and analytics. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of scaling content channels, growing subscribers and engagement, and leveraging podcast and video content as a demand-generation lever in SaaS, media, or creator-first ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic vision, editorial calendar, and performance goals for a YouTube channel and companion podcast, ensuring brand alignment and measurable impact on audience growth, conversions, and retention.
Manage a robust podcast guest pipeline by identifying high-impact voices, overseeing outreach and scheduling, and conducting pre-interview briefings to ensure content quality and relevance.
Oversee the video production process end-to-end, working closely with editors, designers, and freelance creatives to deliver polished, on-brand assets on a consistent cadence.
Build and execute advanced distribution strategies across YouTube, Apple, Spotify, LinkedIn, and newsletter channels, using a mix of organic content, paid amplification, and SEO-driven publishing.
Analyze audience insights, view-through rates, traffic trends, and channel performance to inform continuous optimization, leveraging tools such as YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, product, and content marketing teams to align messaging, drive CTA conversions, and repurpose episodic content into multi-format campaigns.
Mentor junior content creators and production assistants as the team scales, helping to establish processes, brand guidelines, and best practices for media workflows.
Own the execution of social media strategies across multiple platforms, tailoring content for performance and platform norms, and driving engagement through comments, shares, and community building.
Oversee editorial output on WordPress and newsletter tools, ensuring content consistency and SEO value, while creating long-form and short-form copy in support of broader marketing goals.
Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage workflows, audience segmentation, nurture sequences, and campaign attribution tied to media outputs.
Drive innovation in how audio/video content supports customer education, SaaS onboarding, and retention through explainer videos, tutorials, and case-study-style interviews.
Qualifications:
4–6 years of experience in podcast production, content marketing, or YouTube channel management, with demonstrated ownership of strategy and execution.
Proven success in growing an audience on YouTube and/or podcast platforms, including content optimization, SEO, analytics, and monetization strategy.
Deep experience using CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, or similar) to track performance and connect content to business results.
Advanced knowledge of podcast publishing platforms, YouTube Studio, social media ecosystems, and content repurposing workflows.
Strong design and visual storytelling instincts, with hands-on familiarity in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write sharp hooks, compelling show notes, and clear video scripts.
Experience working in or supporting a SaaS or tech-driven business preferred.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, remote-first team with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
Availability to work during U.S. business hours is required.
