Who Are We Looking For?

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, focusing on driving revenue growth and fostering long-term relationships. You will work closely with your customers to understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Your goal will be to expand the business within your assigned accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

To ensure success, you will leverage our CRM and reporting systems to track all customer interactions, monitor sales activities, and analyze account performance. By using these systems effectively, you will gain valuable insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and opportunities for growth. This data will allow you to make informed decisions, stay organized, and optimize your outreach strategies for maximum impact. Building strong relationships and ensuring long-term success for both customers and the company are key in this role.

 

What You’ll Do:


Account Management & Growth:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, focusing on maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand revenue within assigned accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying additional product needs.
  • Regularly assess customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues to ensure customer retention and long-term partnerships.
  • Get creative in your approach to growing accounts, experimenting with new methods to engage clients, such as targeted offers, personalized email campaigns, and customized solutions.
  • Develop and implement unique sales strategies based on customer pain points, needs, and market trends to differentiate our products and services.

 

Daily Outreach & Sales Activity:

  • Make daily outbound calls to existing customers, following up on previous conversations, providing product updates, and uncovering new sales opportunities.
  • Engage in creative, proactive outreach to generate interest, including tailored pitches, promotions, and personalized recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Track call activities, customer interactions, and sales progress, ensuring consistent follow-ups and timely communication.

 

CRM Logging & Data Management:

  • Utilize the CRM system to log all customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate and up-to-date account information.
  • Regularly update the CRM with detailed notes on customer preferences, needs, sales opportunities, and key touchpoints.
  • Leverage CRM data to identify sales trends, potential issues, and opportunities for further engagement or upselling.

 

Sales Strategy & Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team and management to develop and refine strategies aimed at increasing account growth and maximizing revenue.
  • Regularly report on sales progress, account activity, forecasting, and pipeline updates to sales management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to share customer feedback and insights to enhance product offerings and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide insights into customer behavior and feedback to help inform broader sales and business strategies.

 

Your Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Comfortable with remote work tools and technology

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in inside sales or account management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, economics, or related field preferred
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing accounts

 

Compensation: $22.00 - 28.00/Hour (DOE) plus sales target, company, and SMART goal bonus

Location: Remote within the United States
