About this role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Legit Security. This role will be based in Mexico, but focus on engaging prospects in the U.S. market.   

This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to continue building their career in business development within the cybersecurity sector. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer you will play a key role in driving our business growth by identifying new sales opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. At Legit, BDRs are responsible for both outbound and inbound engagement.   

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through outbound cold calling, networking, email, and social media (specifically, LinkedIn). 
  • QuicklyTimely follow up with inbound leads with messaging and content that engages the contact and results in meetings 
  • Adhere to SLAs established for follow-up on inbound leads (e.g., demo requests, event attendees, marketing program leads) 
  • Use key tech tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesforce) to ensure all activity is managed and tracked in line with Legit processes  
  • Leverage other tech tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Revic) to uncover prospects that represent a potentially good fit for Legit 
  • Nurture initial leads that have shown early interest in Legit to keep the brand top of mind.  
  • Schedule and conduct initial client meetings to introduce Legit Security’s solutions, understand client needs, and identify business opportunities. 
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand and leverage campaigns and lead generation efforts. 
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory. 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve better results and drive sales processes. 
  • Report to the sales and marketing leadership on sales results and provide feedback on the market. 
  • Participate in conferences, shows, and exhibitions as needed. 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of business development experience in a technology sector 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations. 
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships. 
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales. 
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs. 
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback. 
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal) 
  • Based in Mexico 

Bonus points:
