  • Prepare recommendations for prospect clients and assist in delivering educational seminars.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned to support the Retirement Services team.

This position is a salaried, exempt and full-time role and will be reporting to an Account Executive. This position is 100% remote (within USA), with the option to work from any of Newfront’s office locations. #LI-Remote

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Support the management of a minimum of ten (10) accounts

  • May independently lead small client accounts

  • Act as day-to-day point of contact for clients and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion

  • Perform special and/or client specific projects

  • Coordinate, attend, facilitate and lead client meetings throughout the year

  • Understand and assess the client needs and manage activities with the clients

  • Assess and prepare the recommendations of prospect clients/vendors for the Account Executives to review and decide on

  • Manage and deliver the client educational seminars. Assist and/or facilitate the client education seminars

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills:  written, public speaking and presentation preparation

  • Excellent customer service skills, professionalism and tact

  • Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and advanced complexities of features

  • Ability to be resourceful, take initiative, solve problems and offer solutions

  • Works well with others in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to co-workers and colleagues.  Ability to train, delegate, provide oversight and give feedback

  • Adaptability and flexibility to address issues and respond to client needs

  • Ability to learn and adopt use of technology systems and software applications

  • Ability to multi-task, understand urgency and deal with changing priorities and deadlines

  • Proficient at project planning and time management

  • Ability to forge relationships and build trust with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of industry knowledge and the ability to analyze data

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Benefits experience required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • General understanding of retirement plan laws and regulations

  • Understanding of retirement plan annual compliance testing and Form 5500 filing

  • Experience with corporate mergers and acquisitions, and the impact on retirement plans

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registration:

  • Series 65 License (preferred or completed within 3 months of start date)

The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado and New York at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $45,100 and $70,500/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
