Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton is looking for a Business Analyst, who will be the vital link between our government client, internal and external information technology (IT) assets, and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of software requirements capture, analytical, and testing tasks of our software product's features.
Must be US Citizen and hold DOD position of Trust (Public Trust), DoD Secret clearance preferred
Provide expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives relative to the business plan and industry requirements.
Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as production and inventory control systems, financial tracking systems, call center management and human resources systems.
Works independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance related to the business implications of the application of various systems.
Devises and/or modifies procedures to solve technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
Assist customers with onboarding onto supported web services and to address issues with the interface and/or data questions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
5 years with BA/ BS, 3 years with MS/MA, 9 years in lieu of degree
Must have active DoD Public Trust;
Experience in Business/ Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
Working in an a Scaled Agile environment
Exposure in eliciting requirements and testing, analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
Knowledge of writing SQL queries and understanding PL/SQL procedures, hands on experience preferred
Knowledge in generating process documentation, such as in Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, Requirement Traceability Matrices, and Interface Control Documents
Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skill
Desired Qualifications:
Subject Matter Expertise in Manpower and/or Personnel knowledge domains
XML knowledge and experience
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range
Details
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
