Remote position - can work from anywhere in the continental US.
M-F standard working hours. There is some flex to start time. 40 hours/week
Required Skills:
-Technical skills using Microsoft tools Excel, Outlook, Teams and Word (heavy use of these)
-Ability to use Zoom, especially within Outlook
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to manage time and work independently without direct daily supervision
-College degree NOT required
While this is a fully remote position, this person will not be thrown in totally on their own. There will be training and regular check-ins with a mentor. There will also be monthly 1:1 with the manager and weekly touchpoints.
The main focus for now will be on the Core Chaser and VC Sync Data Cleanup for now (below). The SAP implementation and Tariff work are just starting up, so these may require more focus later on in the contract. Please see further details below the line.

This contingent worker would support multiple facets of the sales support team for the industrial engine business.
Core Chaser for Replacement Engine Request Team: New RER engine sales following the EPA Regulation 1068.240 require proof of the return of the engine core. It is the responsibility of the salesperson and the local compliance leaders (LCLs) to obtain the appropriate documentation and upload it to the RER website (This regulatory process is explained in CEB00425). This role would have responsibility for following up with internal and external customers to obtain the EPA-required core evidence of destruction and upload it to the RER website. They will need training in both sales process and compliance regulation to have the ability to speak knowledgably to end customers. This role would work to achieve milestones thereby reducing the number of outstanding engine cores and potential for non-compliance exposure with the EPA.
VC Sync data cleanup: We are sharing data between system tools. Some of the data is being updated via bots, but the logic is not working because we have errors in data or missing data. The data cleanup would improve reporting accuracy and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements. This role would have responsibility for identifying missing data and entering it into a system tool as well as correcting erroneous data. They will need training in *** Order Management System (COMS) as well as 1-OM (our plant order intake tool).
SAP implementation for our Arlington, TX facility: I am unsure what this data entry looks like. As the process is rolled out, if the team needs data entry support, this person would facilitate.
Tariff invoicing and tracking: I am unsure what responsibility would be needed. This is a very fluid process right now as we navigate the tariff regulations being implemented by worldwide governing agencies. It is possible there could be some reconciliation and invoicing actions needed.
