Zillow Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Accounts Payable Team! This position requires sharp focus and the ability to optimally prioritize in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Process and Review invoices: input key financial information such as purchase order, project ID, prepaid expense classification, and accounting date
Oversee critical issues and partner with internal business teams to provide solutions for vendor payment issues, with quick resolution
Process sensitive, high dollar invoices with quick turnaround and attention to detail
Responsible for processing and handling both domestic and international payments, while adhering to regulatory requirements
Process settlement runs via ACH, WIRE, and check
Monitor email inboxes for assigned tasks
Connect with vendors and counties nationwide to resolve payments
Identify invoices awaiting further action and work with various partners to resolve
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable, preferably with a public company
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Minimum of 2 references required
Delivers a proactive approach to process improvements
Demonstrates an ability to meet deadlines and exceed expectations in a remote work environment
Exhibits a high attention to detail and understanding of key accounting concepts and basic financial statement components
Effective interpersonal and team skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
Prior experience working for an internet, e-commerce, or media company a plus
Recent experience with big ERP (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Workday Financials, etc.) a plus
Proficient in Excel and Outlook
