Job description

Our client is looking for a Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to drive impactful initiatives that leverage business practices for social good. This role will be crucial in developing and implementing CSR strategies that align with the organization’s commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and ethical business practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for social responsibility and a demonstrated ability to implement effective programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of CSR initiatives that reflect the organization's values and impact the communities it serves.
  • Manage environmental sustainability projects, community outreach programs, and employee engagement in corporate responsibility efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CSR strategies into business practices and communicate achievements internally and externally.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of CSR programs; make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
  • Organize and coordinate volunteer opportunities for employees and cultivate partnerships with local non-profits and community organizations.
  • Prepare communication materials that highlight the company’s CSR efforts and outcomes for stakeholders, including clients and employees.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to corporate social responsibility.
  • Manage budgets and resources allocated for CSR initiatives efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing community programs and sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong passion for social responsibility and a deep understanding of CSR principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting on social impact and program effectiveness.
  • Proficient in project management with solid organizational skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including non-profits, government entities, and employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant CSR or analytics software.
