Job Title: Automation Engineer (MSP Experience Preferred)


About the Role:

Were looking for an Automation Engineer with a strong background in scripting and automation within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on streamlining processes, building efficient workflows, and integrating tools using PowerShell, Power Platform, and automation platforms like Rewst.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Microsoft Power Platform, and Jinja templates.
• Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation within MSP operations.
• Build and manage automations and integrations using Rewst.
• Write and maintain clean, scalable scripts with reusable code components.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes and workflows, providing support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Service Desk, NOC, and Systems Engineering.

Key Requirements:

• MSP experience is a major advantage and highly preferred.
• Very strong PowerShell scripting experience.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
• Strong experience with Jinja templating; Python scripting skills are a strong plus.
• Rewst experience is a major advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and proactively.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools commonly used in MSPs.
• Experience with API integrations and webhooks.
• Knowledge of IT automation best practices and governance.
