Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We’re looking for a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer to join a global digital services company helping mid-size to Fortune 500 companies build, scale, and deliver high-quality digital products and services.Monthly Salary: $2,850.00Responsibilities: - Design and create test cases to ensure proper validation of application functionalities. - Automate functional tests on the mobile application interface. - Execution of automated test scripts and review of results. - Ensuring the quality of the final product and its respective documentation during testing. - Identifying new defects in the application and following up on open defects, ensuring the correction of the problems found. - Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. - Participate in extraordinary testing activities.

Requirements: - Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming using preferably Python, or failing that, some other language such as JAVA or JavaScript. - Practical experience automating tests with Selenium Webdriver, preferably for mobile applications with Appium, or otherwise for Web UI applications. - Applied knowledge of test case design techniques and requirements analysis. - Theoretical and practical knowledge of testing fundamentals and methodologies. - Understanding of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies. - Intermediate English level. - Mexico resident.

Preferred: - Experience developing tests with Behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks preferably with Behave Python. - Understanding of API/RESTful services and experience testing them with tools such as Postman, Insomnia or web browsers. - Experience integrating tests into validation pipelines using CloudBees, Jenkins, or some other CI/CD system. - Experience with code version control tools, such as Git. - Experience with Jira and Confluence.
