Job description

Heyday Health is hiring a remote Telephonic Engagement Specialist to join our growing Engagement team! We are a virtual-first primary care practice dedicated to improving the primary care experience for seniors as well as our providers. We founded Heyday Health because we saw the health system leaving our elderly loved ones behind and were driven to create a better solution. Our practice is being built from the ground up with the mission of transforming how, where, and when we deliver care to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Candidates must be passionate about helping seniors access quality healthcare and are motivated to innovate in the healthcare space and deliver an exceptional experience to our patients and clinicians! Candidates must also be pleasantly persistent and skilled at building rapport over the phone and comfortable with learning the Heyday care model in depth to provide quick and accurate information to potential patients. 

The role will include the following responsibilities, but not be limited to:

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls.
  • Utilizing a CRM, scheduling tool, and other platforms to track leads and properly document interactions with potential patients.
  • Ability to use motivational interviewing techniques to understand a potential patient’s needs and how Heyday Health supports them. 
  • Scheduling patients in the system. 
  • Organized and able to manage tasks related to engaging potential patients.
  • Open to working some weeknights and weekends.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. work authorization.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or telephonic engagement, with healthcare experience a plus.
  • Previous experience in a metrics driven position preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Comfort with using or learning how to use electronic health records, health information exchanges and other computer systems.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent 

Location: Remote, USA. This role operates in Eastern Standard Time

Salary Range: $45,000-$65,000 per year
