The Director of Marketing, Chronic Solutions – Americas is responsible for leading the regional marketing team to achieve strategic and commercial objectives in alignment with global priorities. Key responsibilities include talent development, shaping and executing the Chronic Solutions strategy for the Americas, driving revenue and profit growth through strategic initiatives, product management, and regional pricing strategy development. The Director will play a pivotal role in continuous process improvement to enhance marketing effectiveness.
This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with global product management, global marketing services, regional sales and clinical teams, as well as direct engagement with customers and patients. The Director will lead the strategic development and execution of patient-centric initiatives specific to the Americas, ensuring local relevance while maintaining global consistency.
As a key member of the Chronic Solutions leadership team, the Director will be a critical voice representing the Americas region—ensuring regional market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges are clearly communicated and considered in global planning. This individual will have the ability to influence globally while executing with excellence regionally.
Responsibilities:
Lead the annual regional business planning process, aligning with global and regional strategies. Develop and execute regional pricing framework to drive profitable growth and market competitiveness
Oversee performance management, coaching, and talent development across the marketing function
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and marketing excellence within the team Strategically position the regional product portfolio to maximize revenue and support long-term growth initiatives
Design and execute patient-centric marketing strategies that align with critical enterprise imperatives. Represents, refines, and drives value propositions for key brands and products to ensure consistency across the regional customer base
Collaborates and executes digital and communication campaigns in support of commercial efforts Understands customer and patient environments to ensure proper development of key messaging and programming
Plan and manage digital marketing and communication campaigns to support commercial efforts
Conduct ongoing market and customer segment analysis to inform strategy, messaging, and positioning
Monitor product portfolio performance, segment trends, and market dynamics to guide portfolio decisions
Manages marketing budgets effectively to ensure maximum ROI on investments
Ensures the Chronic Solutions Americas region follows all regulatory, legal, and company guidelines with it comes to promotion and training of our products and services

Assess payer structures and local decision-making units (DMUs) to tailor messaging and programming

Identify and objectify opportunities/challenges thru market & indication intelligence
Visualize, report, and respond to evolving regional market trends
Marketing Communications and Brand Management
Ensure regional marketing initiatives reflect global brand positioning while executing locally relevant strategies to meet market-specific needs.
Maintain regional autonomy while ensuring adherence to global brand strategy, messaging, and visual identity. Develop and oversee all MARCOM related activity within Americas region, ensuring consistent execution aligned with global campaigns
Develop and implement both B2B and B2C digital strategies and customer journeys that drive engagement and support the sales pipeline Monitor digital analytics and performance across platforms to inform optimization and innovation
Qualifications:
15+ years of commercial experience in the medical device industry
10+ years of direct people management experience required within the sales and/or marketing function
5+ years of product marketing experience required within the medical device industry
Both B2C and B2B experience preferable
MBA required
Proven leadership & cross-functional co-ordination
Functions well within a collaborative team environment, understand influence management, and demonstrates emotional intelligence
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills in group and one-on-one settings
Market research (both primary and secondary) and analysis skills desired.
Computer skills are required, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Approximately 35% travel is required.
