Job Description
The Account Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding partnerships with existing CPG clients within an assigned territory while also identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic, results-oriented approach to selling NRS’ full suite of solutions, including in-store advertising, digital incentives, and digital media, to deliver measurable impact and accelerate growth.
Responsibilities Include:
· Apply effective sales strategies to increase revenue across accounts while ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets.
· Manage and deepen client relationships at all levels within assigned accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
· Develop and present data-driven, omnichannel campaigns tailored to CPG objectives using NRS’ comprehensive suite of solutions and resources.
· Build strategic recommendations based on data, insights, and financial forecasting models to drive measurable client success.
· Engage senior decision-makers in face-to-face meetings to understand their business priorities and demonstrate how NRS solutions can support their initiatives.
· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating leads and securing meetings with potential clients.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (digital strategy, consumer insights, marketing, etc) to create compelling, insights-driven proposals.
· Maintain a proactive sales pipeline with weekly forecasting and performance reporting to track sales opportunities and progress.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of sales experience; experience selling in the CPG industry preferred.
· Proven track record of independently driving revenue growth over at least three consecutive years, with tangible results and references.
· Success in building and maintaining strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers.
· Highly motivated, tenacious, and passionate about new business development and account growth.
· Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability that takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
· Confident communicator and strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
· Highly analytical, with demonstrated ability to leverage industry data to develop tailored client recommendations and proposals.
